LÄÄNE COUNTY – the nature lovers wonderland
Lääne county in the nortwest is the least populated part of Estonian mainland making the area ideal destination to any wildlife explorer. The long coastline, raised bogs, wooded meadows, vast reedbeds and largest flooded plains of Europe – the nature in this area never fails to amaze. Getting to the area is easy. It is only 1,5 hours drive from the Tallinn airport or harbour to Haapsalu town or Matsalu National Park.
