Vormsi

Vormsi, located only a 45 minute sea trip away from Rohuküla Harbour, is the fourth largest Estonian island, which was named after the Icelandic Viking Ormi (“snake”) according to the legend. Coastal Swedes were the main inhabitants of Vormsi until 1944. The shallow and warm coastal sea is suitable for kayaking. You can get the best overview of the island by moving around by bicycle. You can rent it straightaway at Sviby Harbour. More information: www.tule-vormsile.ee.
